Applications are invited for scientific programmer positions in the broad area of computational genomics and proteomics at the University of Washington.
Job duties include implementing various algorithms to solve biological problems, and to aid in scientific research. Job duties will also include implementing web-based databases and servers. Extensive familiarity with programming languages (primarily C, Perl) essential.
The positions will be in the Samudrala Computational Biology Research Group located in the Rosen Building at the University of Washington. The building offers a diverse multidisciplinary intellectual environment, high-performance computing facilities, and great views.
